Abstract

A model is presented to predict the number of travellers on railway stations in relation to socio- economic features of the cities /areas in which these stations are found. This model resulted from a study of the accessibility of railway stations. It turns out that, although more factors then used in this model should be taken into account, a reasonably fair prediction can be made.
