Abstract

A dynamic environmental simulator which enables one to "walk" or "drive" through small three-dimensional scale models of urban, suburban, and natural environments is developed. A remotely guided television camera equipped with tiny viewing attachments moves through scale models of the environment and projects continuous eye-level views on closed circuit television screens. Applications to practical problems in environmental planning and design are discussed.
