Abstract

This report is a description of three truck incidents. These incidents occurred during the pilot `Versnelde Berging - accelerated vehicle recovery' carried out by Rijkswaterstaat, Directorate General of Public Works and Water Management in the Utrecht district during the period 15 November 2005 through 15 May 2006. The focus of the trial was that in the event of incidents, the primarily attention was given to clearing the lane as rapidly (and responsible) as possible in order to restore the flow of traffic as quickly;y as possible (reduction of the number of lost vehicle hours). The objective of this report is to illustrate, using several practical examples, the data analysis carried out by Arane and the process evaluation carried out by Grontmij. For reasons of privacy, the names of the people and companies involved here have been deleted from the reports. For every incident, the Monigraph time distance graphs have been added.
