Abstract

The primary purpose of this study is to identify the principal causes of collisions involving heavy trucks (gross vehicle weight of 4,536 kg and greater) in British Columbia (B.C.) and use this information as the basis for identifying effective prevention programs and policies to improve safety on B.C.’s highways.
