Abstract

In this paper we propose various extensions of homogeneity analysis. These extensions call all be discussed in terms of the geometrical representation of objects and categories. They complete the system of measurement levels used in older forms of homogeneity analysis and nonmetric principal component analysis, mostly by introducing various possibilities to analyse `continuously' varying classifications.
