Abstract

The purpose of this report is to examine recent bicycle motor vehicle accident statistics, place them in he context of available national statistics and suggest strategies for reducing the bicycle- motor vehicle accident rate. Although bicycle safety education is probably the most important. Method of combining the rising bicycle accident rate, law enforcement, improvement of physical facilities, and legal revisions can also contribute to a solution.
