Bicycle routes in towns : A Danish demonstration project.

Abstract

In 1984 the Danish government granted 10 million Danish crowns to four towns in order to allow them as pilot projects to establish bicycle routes through dense urban areas. The aim of the project has been to procedure various solutions and gain experience in making bicycle routes in places where conventional solutions are not applicable. As part of the project before and after studies have been made on the effects of bicycle routes.
