Abstract

A more detailed analysis of 60 cases of bicycle spoke injuries showed that a drop in numbers has occurred from 80 to approximately 60 from 1960 to 1970. There is a need for manufacturing of a safe children's seat with built-in protection for the feet, and information must be given on the risk of bicycle spoke injuries to children as passengers on bicycles.
