Abstract

A study is made to the effect of the publicity campaign of Veilig Verkeer Nederland, the announcement and introduction of the "1 november-wet" and the control on the performance of this law. The following recommendations are mentioned : (1) a publicity campaign with motivation's main purpose; (2) publicity on police controls and their results, and (3) an appeal to mass media to give information on this subject.
