Abstract

A study of traffic accidents involving 100 pedestrians injured in 94 accidents of various degree of seriousness is presented. With the aim of being able to possibly achieve also a study of the kinematics of the injured pedestrian, accidents in which both the pedestrian was injured and the vehicle was damaged, were selected. The study is limited to accidents between a pedestrian and a four-wheeled vehicle.
