Abstract

The software developed and used in the occupant simulation here is called DYNAMAN. It is a software package that allows an analyst to simulate the dynamics of a vehicle occupant or pedestrian /cyclist involved in a crash event. The modules of the package are described, just as the elements of simulation input and the methodology for reconstruction of occupant motion.
