Abstract

The Viscous mechanism of injury is a measure of viscoelastic reaction of tissue to a dynamic deformation. It will help provide a better interpretation on injury risk from finite element analyses of Hybrid III dummy head dynamics. A correct biomechanical compliance of the Hybrid III face will also help to give more human- like dummy response.
