Abstract
Before making safety devices for the human body, it is necessary to know the degree of vulnerability of the body and its constituent parts. In principle, to determine these characteristic data, one proceeds in the same way as for technical testing of materials. Reactions and resistance stress must, as much as possible, be studied under realistic conditions whilst effectively making use of parts of the human body.
