Abstract

This volume contains a collection of numerical tables commonly required by mathematical statisticians in the course of their work. the tables are accompanied by a lengthy introduction which gives for each table the appropriate mathematical formulae, detailed instructions for use (including interpolation where relevant) and, in many cases, one or two worked examples. A uniform notation is adopted as far as possible.
