Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 1962 is divided into two sections. Part 1: Bituminous Materials addresses such topics as binder stress sensitivity, binder oxidative aging, and low-temperature cracking of asphalt binders. Part 2: Nonbituminous Components of Bituminous Paving Mixtures presents research on the degradation resistance of stone matrix asphalt mixtures, the addition of polymers to crumb rubber–modified binders, and evaluation of recycled asphalt pavement mixtures using the Mechanistic–Empirical Pavement Design Guide.
