Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board 1832 examines hot-mix asphalt moisture sensitivity and lime performance, screenings use, the gamma-ray method for measuring bulk specific gravity, and rapid triaxial tests in quality control. Also included in this volume are Louisiana case studies of foamed recycled asphalt pavement base materials and the permeability of Superpave® asphalt mixtures, along with findings on material heterogeneity in crack modeling of asphaltic mixtures, the fatigue endurance limit for highway and airport pavements, and the time–temperature superposition for asphalt mixtures with growing damage and permanent deformation in compression. The papers contained in this volume were among those presented at the 82nd Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in January 2003. For abstracts of some of the papers see C 32808 - C 32833.
