Abstract

Analysis of age x alcohol figures for 22352 breathalysed drivers shows that almost all are men and at least one third are younger than 25 years. There is a second lower peak at age 40-44 years. The curves differ between the States. More sociological data are needed about this drinking drivers and should be collected in a uniform fashion.
