Abstract

This article discusses a booklet which is the end product of highway safety activity in Vermont. The booklet describes that over the past 20 years between one-third and one-half of Vermont's highway fatalities have involved unnecessary collision with death-dealing roadside (unyielding) obstacles after which specific recommendations for improvements are provided.
