Brain injuries under high speed loadings : a study with models and cadaver heads.

Abstract

In various types of injuries the head is a very vulnerable part of the human body. Impact tests are conducted with two and three dimensional models and cadaver skulls in order to investigate the effect of short-time shock load on the brain. The results of these tests are presented and discussed.
