"Breathalyzer" faults : principles and practice.

Abstract

Comparative studies show that Breathalyzer readings tend on an average to be lower than b.a.c. recorded directly from a specimen of blood taken from a vein in the arm. Various aspects of this problem are discussed and some desirable modifications of Breathalyzer legislation are suggested.
