Abstract

A comparison is made between the calibration of the alcohol content in the blond by a gas chromatographic analysis and the alcohol content in the breath test by a Breathalyzer. The results clearly indicate that a breathalyzer test, even if carefully administered under ideal conditions, underestimates the true blood alcohol level.
