Abstract
Clear road markings are essential for safe driving anytime, but particularly at night. A new road marking system has been launched that includes the use of technology pioneered in an award winning accident reduction system. The Clusterbead technology incorporated in both Colourbright and Nightbright is a patented process of fusing high index glass beads in a colouredbinder system, and is highly visible to drivers at night because it reflects back coloured light from the white light of vehicle headlights. This article discusses this and other road marking systems.
