The purpose of the investigation was to study the influence of front/rear brake force distribution on dynamic stability during braking in a constant radius curve. The method used is theoretical simulation by means of an analog computer. The results obtained indicate that a higher proportion of the brake force must be applied to the front wheels than is necessary according to the demand on simultaneous locking of the front and rear wheels in straight line braking, if good stability is to be maintained during braking on a road bend.
