Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board 1876 examines traffic simulation models, including the calibration of microscopic traffic simulation models with aggregate data, an analysis of distribution and calibration of car-following sensitivity parameters in microscopic traffic simulation models, a systematic validation of a microscopic traffic simulation program, and the development and calibration of a large-scale microscopic traffic simulation model. The papers contained in this volume were among those presented at the 83rd Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in January 2004.
