Abstract

In discussing measurement by subjective rating scales, Annett focuses on the application of these scales in ergonomics studies such as into workload and useability. Results from these studies should support design. Most examples referred to in the paper involve operators’ performances in working conditions. The author will discuss four topics raised in Annett’s paper, for the area of design supportive research into the interaction between users and everyday products. (Author/publisher)
