Abstract

Tilburg is, with 150.000 inhabitants, one of the bigger towns in the Netherlands. Many people use a bike or a moped. The large number of two- wheelers is one of the reasons that many road- victims fall among these road- users. The local authority has organized in 1981 a moped- campaign as a permanent education- project. The campaign was successful and the traffic- education turned out to be highly necessary.
