Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine: 1. the extent to which the professional driving population is at risk for heart disease and muskuloskeletal problems and 2. the interest and feasibility for implementation of measures to improve upon undesirable health status. The Wellness on Wheels (WOW) program is designed around a fitness component with emphasis on applicability to the driving world and with an emphasis on interaction between driver and WOW.
