Abstract

The casualties on the roads of Great Britain during the period January-June 1960, have been analysed to show. separately for restricted (30 mile/h and 40 mile/h speed limits) and unrestricted roads, the daily casualties classified according to: I: the state of the road surface, i.e. dry, wet or icy; II: the severity of the injury sustained in the accident; III: the class of road user killed or injured.
