Abstract

Recent studies and practical experience have shown that catenary installations with luminaires equipped with low-pressure sodium lamps and auxiliary equipment of recent highly-developed design can provide the optimum solution for motorways and other important roads. Such installations comply with the highest classifications recommended by CIE at the lowest investment, running costs and energy consumption.
