Abstract

ZED stands for "Zero Errors Driving," and that's what you'll try to achieve. driver-ZED® for Adult Drivers' full-screen, full-motion video puts you behind the wheel and guides you through 67 real-life driving sequences designed to enhance your ability to recognize and deal with emerging risks. The driving sequences take place in a mix of highway, urban, and rural settings. Over the course of three 45 minute sessions, the program places you in a broad variety of potentially dangerous situations. Your score is based on how well you respond to the risks in each driving sequence. You start driver-ZED® for Adult Drivers with a perfect score of zero which increases with each error you make. driver-ZED® for Adult Drivers is designed to support a variety of uses. It may be used independently at home, or it can be installed in a classroom setting and provide centralized record keeping among several computers on a lan. The program can also provide non-scored, direct access to all driving sequences to support use by an instructor. (Author/publisher)
