Qualifizierungsnachweise in Ausbildung und Training bestaetigen, dass eine Person oder eine Sache einen Test bestanden oder eine bestimmte Leistungsstufe erreicht hat. Die Qualifizierung dient dem Zweck der Einfuehrung und Aufrechterhaltung von Standards. Die vorliegende Untersuchung bietet Einblicke in MSF-Qualifizierungsablaeufe, indem sie die Geschichte der Schulungspraxis beschreibt, Einblicke in ausgewaehlte sicherheitsorientierte Organisationen und deren Qualifizierungspraxis gewaehrt und die Schulungs- und Zertifizierungsmassnahmen der MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) fuer Fahrertrainer und deren Moderatoren vorstellt. Das Ausbildungs- und Trainingsprogramm der MSF (MSF RETS) bietet Struktur und Aufbau eines kompletten Trainingsablaufs fuer verschiedene Fahrergruppen fuer Einsteiger und bereits erfahrene Fahrer. Das MSF-Trainingsprogramm erfordert eine hohe Qualitaet der Lehrer-Schueler-Interaktion und stellt die Entwicklung von Wissen, Faehigkeiten, Einstellungen, Gewohnheiten und Wertigkeiten in den Vordergrund. Die Wirksamkeit und Leistungsfaehigkeit dieses Fahrerprogramms haengt weitgehend von der Professionalitaet der offiziell geschulten Fahrertrainer und Moderatoren ab. ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: From the education and training perspective, certification is used to declare that somebody or something has passed a test or achieved a certain standard. Certification serves the purpose of establishing and maintaining standards. This paper provides a background for certification by looking at the history of certification practices, provides a snapshot of certification procedures of selected safety-related organizations, and outlines the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's (MSF) certification and recertification processes for its RiderCoaches and RiderCoach Trainers. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation's Rider Education and Training System (MSF RETS) provides the structure and processes of a complete training system designed to provide entry-level as well as lifelong learning experiences for prospective and current motorcyclists. The MSF RETS requires a quality of teacher/learner interaction that will ensure the development of learner knowledge, skills, attitude, habits and values. The efficacy and effectiveness of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation education programs, to a large extent, depends on the professional effectiveness of certified RiderCoaches and RiderCoach Trainers.
