Abstract

Research workers have attempted to evaluate the mechanism of injury to the head and neck from acceleration forces either by using cadavers (1), anaesthetized primates (2), or volunteers and anthropometric dummies in full scale mock up collisions (3). Non has made available pathologic material following injury by acceleration.
