The concentration of employment, business, retail, and tourist activities generate various types of business travel.Business travel can be broadly identified as: pick up / delivery, employer's business and personal business. According to a survey undertaken in 1987, commercial vehicle traffic has increased by some 37 per cent between 1979 and 1987. The growth in business travel is expected to continue because of the flourishing development of major activities in the city of Sydney.
