Abstract
This issue of Current Topics includes over 45 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on road safety training, education and research on accident prevention among children using the road, in many different countries. Specific topics include: attitudes to child safety; attitudes to cycling or walking to school / leisure activities; the study of road traffic accidents involving child pedestrians or cyclists; national accident reduction policies; and the effects of the design of the built environment on child road safety.
