Abstract

Even though the childhood mortality from accidents has decreased, accidents involving children still have to be regarded as a major health problem. The protection of children against accidents is therefore an important task in the society. A reduction of the mortality and morbidity rates from childhood accidents will probably only be brought about by a radical improvement of the normal environment of children.
