Abstract

The aim of this study is to assess the maximum acceptable collusion above which we have to consider that mass transportation passengers travelling seated without seat belts facing or turning their backs to the shock, might be injured. In the case of a frontward shock the risk can be considered negligible under a speed of 10 km/h.
