Abstract

By analysing the attributes used in AGORA-C , a new algorithm was developed for a location referencing technique called MEI-LIN which is able to determine and identify certain points in a road network by creating references with low data sizes and very promising hit-rates using graph theoretical elements. MEI-LIN can be integrated in existing algorithms to reference important points or it can be used as a stand-alone method. It permits to evaluate different choices of reference points within a location in order to select the one that can most likely be reidentified. For the covering abstract see ITRD E134653.
