Abstract

Citizen participation in transportation planning process is a broad area that needs thorough and competent research from which insight as to the role of citizens can be ascertained. The papers in this record contribute to an understanding of the mechanisms for involving citizens in public decisions, the result of that involvement, and the effectiveness of programs to relocate transportation facilities.
