Abstract

Accident simulations involving the 900 collision of motorcycles against the side of moving passenger cars have been conducted and evaluated. In contrast to motorcycle collisions against stationary passenger cars, the tests involving 'collisions against moving passenger cars revealed a multitude of collision sequences corresponding to what really happens in an accident.
