Abstract

One of the results of the TELTEN (TELematics implementation on the Trans-European road Network) Project is the development of Traffic Management Architectures for the TERN. The Logical Architecture is presented in this paper as a consequence of the General Layout of Transport showing how and where Telematics can help. It describes the basic building blocks and the interconnections, both of systems and actors, necessary for coherent Traffic Management on the TERN. (A)
