Abstract

The aim of the survey was to examine the drivers' behaviour at pedestrian crossings and how it was influenced by the pedestrians' behaviour, age, sex, etc. The driver with a long driving experience and a strong car with good acceleration faculties seems to represent a typical personality of drivers who stop at zebra crossings.
