Abstract

Much research has been carried out into the changes that have taken place in rural areas over the last 30 years with respect to the population, the distribution of facilities and the accessibility to them. The present study examines more closely one particular aspect of the problem, namely the decline of employment opportunities and its effects on the occupation aspiration and expectations of young adults in rural areas.
