Abstract
This conference contains papers on the following topics concerning transport for disabled and/or elderly people: (a) human rights, (b) mobility and quality of life; (c) transport policy; (c) the planning and management of transport services; (d) marketing and the quality of transport services; (e) multi modal aspects; (f) financing of services; (g) taxis and specialised transport; (h) worldwide examples of rural and regional transport schemes; (i) methods for improving information provision and communication; (j) user training; (k) improvements in accessibility, including modifications in the design of urban transport systems; (l) car design; and (m) driving ability.
