Abstract

In shopping planning practise a distribution or gravity model is normally used to forecast trip and money flows. Further elaborating on the work of Alan Wilson a more general formulation of the equilibrium shopping model and its consequences will be presented. Different assignment methods for achieving the balanced equilibrium state, if any, haven been discussed
