Abstract

An experiment to compare two methods of coordinating traffic signals in an area is described. The signals in Madrid are controlled according to a signal plan generation system and compared with a system similar to the most successful fixed-time schema that had been tried in Glasgow. The dynamic system gave longer journey times during working day.
