Abstract

Problems involved in comparing humans and dummy dynamic responses are discussed; instrumentation required for measuring impact response on human volunteers, cadavers and anthropomorphic dummies is described; and some studies in which human volunteers, cadavers, and dummies were evaluated under identical conditions are summarized.
