Abstract

This paper presents a brief description of several test procedures for measuring the transient lateral response characteristics of motor vehicles. The random steering and the stap response steering techniques are studied in detail by being used to evaluate different vehicles. The correlation between the numerics obtained from these two tests is investigated.
