Compatibility between different-sized vehicles on crash survivability.

Abstract

Collisions between cars of different weights are discussed, along with improvements to the mutual safety of both vehicles. It is shown that in car-to-car collisions the vehicle deceleration is in inverse proportion to the vehicle weight, but occupant safety can be increased by improving the body construction.
