Abstract

Head injuries are prevalent among accident involved cyclists. Approximately 35% of all injuries sustained by cyclists are head injuries; the increased use of approved bicycle helmets would undoubtedly reduce such injuries. This report outlines a recommended strategy for the promotion of bicycle helmet use by children.
