Abstract

This paper attempts to provide a framework for the optimal application of computer systems to transportation engineering.Integrated transportation design systems (ITEDS) is a computer aided design system that operates various computer surveying, mapping and engineering design packages to create a final design comprised of contract drawings, cross- sections, quantities and mass haul information.
